Great reference for old school magic!for me son he wanted itGreat reference for older MTG cardsand with little information on what it contained I was a little hesitant in buying it. It was also printed in 1996, so is now 16 years old. What you get is an A4 sized book of 222 pages. There is a foreword and some MTG history and then into the card listings of Fourth Edition, Discontinued, Chronicles, Ice Age, Alliances, Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, Fallen Empires and Homelands. Each page is laid out with up to 12 colour images of the cards of each set with any, for then, current errata to note on the card of which I have placed a photo in the images section of this. There is also a deckbuilders' index at the back, but 16 years on I have no idea how useful this would be.Wanting it primarily for the fourth edition and Arabian Nights for the MTG Microprose 1998 PC game, this volume has more than met my expectations.I am not sure how it would fit in with the current rules or sets so far on, but as a visual reference for the cards themselves it is excellent and well worth having to reference against the Wizards' Gathering website for up-to-date information. An excellent book that gives a great pictorial guide to the early setsAwesome book!!!!!!very good item, excellent sellerEl libro pese a no ser nuevo, esta muy cuidado y en buen estado, muy contento con el.
